Mullins, Rob
The reason for the success of Rob's coaching program is simple: he gives students exactly what they need at their lessons and shows them the fastest pathway to achieve their goals. Rob will eliminate your frustration quickly and get you on the right path. The universal nature of music has led him to invent a new music education system that is working for vocalists and instrumentalists in all styles of music. During a typical week at our teaching studio, he will work on songwriting for a recording artist, teach harmony to an Indian musician, coach an actress or two for upcoming performances on stage and screen, and help improvising musicians learn to play piano, trumpet, guitar and sax at a higher level than they did before.
Rob runs a unique and special curriculum tied to the music industry and specialize in helping students make their music and increase their performance levels much faster than other programs.
Rob Mullins studied theory and composition in New York with George Russell (mentor to Bill Evans, Miles Davis and John Coltrane). Upon leaving New York, Rob began recording his songs and writing educational books. He has now written four educational books including "Jazz Piano Voicings" which is used by Berklee School of Music. As a music producer, voting member at The Recording Academy (Grammy Awards), and teacher, Rob has recorded 34 piano albums and draws on his 30,000 hours of teaching experience to create unique lessons for each new student here at Pierre’s Fine Pianos.
Rob will be happy to help you reach your musical goals in jazz, pop, rock, and other genres.
